Hey all,

It's been months since I got my Supercard, and I finally decided to install DSOrganize. It was easy, I just copied the .nds and the DSOrganize folder to the root of my SD, it worked fine.

But what I didn't see coming...

... is that it has a TEXT EDITOR.

AWESOMENESS. You can make .txt files, then edit them, and run them in DSLua. (If you're picky, it also has a rename function, you can rename it to a .lua if you want).

Now all we need is a graphics editor and some on-the-ds documentation (I've got that covered... I'm porting Jeremy's Documentation to the DS as we speak!)

Awesome! You know, we could make a development environment on the DS for dslua, including text editor, drawing apps and maby even 3D modelling programs. Ofcourse, that's a long way ahead but it might just be a possibility. Also we could probably make some upload thingy with that php compatible code you (or was it jeremy?) did. Like, you upload the code directly to some server and other people can download the game directly to their DS.

Ye, this would require a lot of work and it would be better if done in libnds but it's still possible.

Yeah I've used DSO as a code editor a lot. For both HTML and Lua. For HTML it has a really nice syntax highlighter. Maybe we can add lua syntax highlighting! Grin Either with a plug-in or just try to change DSO's source code and compile a new version.

How are you porting the documentation? DSO can read HTML files on the card.

wait, you don't HAVE to rename it to .lua to run it in DSLua?
Thats what I have been doing;_;
