I created a simple script from the tutorial, and want to pack it now. Every time I run the PACK file, it opens Dualis with a error that reads:

"LoadLibrary failed for arm9.dll
Error code 0000007E"

Why am I getting this error? How can I fix whatever is wrong?

Hello Brennan,

I'm not exactly the mega emulator dude, but I DO think I have a fix. The attached file is PACK.bat, in a different type. This one WILL NOT RUN DUALIS! If you are running Dualis from another program the wrong way, it will crash like that. Replace your PACK.BAT file with this one. That'll fix it!!!

Thank you very much, that fixed the problem. But, when I save my script, instead of saving as HELLOWORLD.LUA, it saves as HELLOWORLD.LUA.TXT... I am using notepad.

(Sorry for the questions, I'm getting the hang of the scripting itself, but the packing and finalizing is sort of confusing.)

Hehe. I laugh at this! There are two options to fix that .txt problem. Depending on your Operating System, try using Save As, and use All Files before naming it ****.lua. Or, if that doesn't work, just remove the .txt part.

There you go,

Instead of making a new topic, I'll ask here; are there any tutorials or documentations that would aid in coding my first game? I've got text display and simple things down, but I'm not really sure where to start in terms of creating the structure of the game itself.

Both me and a few others are working on documentations, but none are up yet. Until then, look through the help topics here and the sample programs.

See ya
