Jetfighter by Cid2Mizard

Cid2Mizard has just released Jetfighter 0.1 on dev-fr.org (click here for his post) (http://www.dev-fr.org/index.php?topic=285.0). Here is my translation of his post:

"Here I am putting online my first release of Jetfighter, coded in Lua. In this release, you can only move the 2 jets on their respective screens with some rather cool music. Use the D-Pad to control one of them and A, B, X, and Y to control the other one. I had to withdraw shooting, because of some problems with the code; when I drew with one, I blocked the other, lol. This problem will be solved in the next release."

Go to the link for the download (GBFS version only, apparently.)

Japanese font and text entry

Jeremysr found a cool Japanese website (http://hashimo.ddo.jp/f.cgi?s=dslua&e=1&r=dsluascripts.html) (by Ken Hashimoto if I am not mistaken) with some DSLua script to display Japanese font and allow Japanese text entry. Pretty cool! Read more about it in Jeremysr's post (http://www.dslua.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,19/topic,280.0)...

Skip-Bo in DSLua

I (Jeremysr) have made a DS version of the card game Skip-Bo using DSLua. It's the same as normal Skip-Bo except there's only 2 players (1 human and 1 CPU) and you can only have 1 card at a time in your discard piles. To move a card tap it and then tap where you want to move it to. To end your turn move a card in your hand to a discard pile (if there's already a card on the pile you're moving it to the card will be overwritten).Download (5.5 MB): Here (http://www.bio-gaming.com/jeremy/dslua/downloads/skipbo_dslua.zip)Discussion topic: Here (component/option,com_smf/Itemid,19/topic,226.msg860)

DSLua 0.6

DSLua has returned with a new group! Sypherce, Daltonlaffs, and I (Jeremysr) wil be developing DSLua from now on. And right now we are releasing DSLua 0.6!The new features are a wifi function library, auto-starting a script (behaves like an actual DS homebrew program), new system and stylus functions, and a microphone library. It has also been compiled with much newer versions of PAlib and devkitPro, and as a result lua programs run much faster now.DSLua still comes in CF and GBFS flavours. But now the CF version uses LibFATDragon and comes with grey, green, and blue versions, like DSorganize. This makes it compatible with lots of homebrew devices. We also wrote a documentation. It comes with DSLua 0.6 but there is a link to an online version on the menu to your left. Please go to the Downloads section to download DSLua 0.6.

DSLua 0.5 Release

Everything but the kitchen sink release! This release is based on alot of the user feed back I've gotten. Major features are the file io support and mod music support!File input/output support through Lua's default io methods. Now you can save those high scores directly to flash cards (the ones supported by Chishm's driver).Added functions to retrieve system information, such as user name/birthday/current time/favorite color..etc.All trignometry functions in the math libraries are now using degrees instead radiants, i.e. math.cos(0)=1, math.cos(90)~=0. My apologies if you are using them currently.Lua files are highlighted in green now. The file selector also tries to remember the previous location between script runs.Same as the previous releases, version 0.5 comes in CF and GBFS flavor. Grab them from the file section.
