Everything but the kitchen sink release! This release is based on alot of the user feed back I've gotten. Major features are the file io support and mod music support!
File input/output support through Lua's default io methods. Now you can save those high scores directly to flash cards (the ones supported by Chishm's driver). Added functions to retrieve system information, such as user name/birthday/current time/favorite color..etc. All trignometry functions in the math libraries are now using degrees instead radiants, i.e. math.cos(0)=1, math.cos(90)~=0. My apologies if you are using them currently. Lua files are highlighted in green now. The file selector also tries to remember the previous location between script runs. Same as the previous releases, version 0.5 comes in CF and GBFS flavor. Grab them from the file section. |

Angor started to work on a snow battle game: I am just starting to program a game in LUA for the DS. The intention is to program a simple but adictive game to learn how the system works and later try something more complex (like a RPG or so The concept i have in mind is something simple: (a) two players playing in the same DS (or a player vs the DS), (b) each player uses one screen and half of the control keys and (c) they perform some basic distance fighting (kind of worms game or snow battle...) Still in early alpha status, but here comes a first screenshot of the snowball battle LUA game Check our new forum for more information. :) |
