Hey waruwaru:)
It's very nice to see the direction DSLua is heading now:D
Anyway, it seems there is no documentation at all to it, and I was offering help in documenting it.

I know a bit of Lua(used it before), and I also know how to program for the DS.

Hello Extreme Coder,

Thanks!  Yeah, sorry I havn't gotten around to do the documentations yet.  If you have already written anything, let me know and I can post it here.  You can email it to me using the email address in DSLua README.TXT (trying to avoid spams here. heh).

Thanks,
Waruwaru

Are there still plans for some proper documentation? I've read some tutorials on the Lua Wiki and tried to learn DSLua by looking at the scripts afterwards but that just ain't working for me... To be able to code for Lua Player all I needed was this: http://wiki.ps2dev.org/psp:lua_player:tutorial and I didn't even read all of it or knew Lua. I think using DevKitArm to develop for DS is easier than DSLua simply due to the lack of documentation. It's probably also the reason why it's so dead in here. So please consider writing some documentation.

Yo waruwaru, glad to see you came back! First time in almost a month...

Anywho, I can help with documentations, too. I still currently don't understand some of the more advanced commands, but I know enough to pull a lot off (points to RPG Maker DS)

I was workin on this one anyway, so gimme a hour or so  Wink

I really want to program in DSLua, but there is no explanation for the functions and I can't find any tutorials except one... Undecided

Let's think 4 a second. Everyone else here learned DSLua with the tutorial scripts. If you study those, and the questions on the site that people have asked, you should have enough knowledge to work well. I do. *Points to RPG Maker DS topic*

Yes I know, but it's too hard that way Cheesy

I'll try to learn from the examples, hopefully it'll be enough for me to make the game that I have in mind. But someone who knows a lot about the different functions should make a document describing them.
