Screen.Initialize( screen, background1 [, background2, ...] )

How many backgrounds can be initialized with this?

Well in C you can have 4 backgrounds but I don't know about DSLua. Why didn't you just try putting more than 2 backgrounds?

I looped through 5 of them to see what the maximum was (they were all 256*192 maps, on the top screen, so results may vary), and it ran out of memory around 130. It'll be fine  Grin

I'm guessing you loaded 130 backgrounds. He's asking how many can be initialized in one call to Screen.Intialize().

Ah. Oops, missed that tidbit.

What I myself would do is load 2 at a time if all else fails, take a screenshot, and use the result of those two as one background, combine it with the next one, screenshot, repeat.
