Hi,

I just discover DSLUA a realy great program.

Is it a way to have a serial port on the Nintendo DS ?
Ir it suportted by DSLUA ?

Welcome to the forum, Georges!

Well, technically, anything can be done to a DS with some hardware and a devkitPRO program, however, no extension exists to date that allows serial connection. If you can make your own, although that would be harder than I can imagine, you may be able to get it working under the devkitPRO development kit. Good luck with that...

Natrium42 has worked on several DS hardware gizmos including a serial port:

DSLua currently doesn't have any function to access the serial port though...

You can download DSLua's source code and add DSerial functionality into DSLua.  But, if you are going to do that, you might as well do everything in C/C++ with DevKit.

Hi,

I am an Hardware man not a Software one !

I think I will devellop a WIFI Robot Controller to use with LUA and the Nintendo DS.

Who is interested to connect the nintendo to the Real World ?
