if i do this in any script(or even your example script), it doesnt display anything:
Code:
BGBotText:PrintXY( 0, 3, DSLua.UserName() )
(09 - SystemInfo.lua)

even this doesnt work:
Code:
BGBotText:PrintXY( 0, 3, tostring( DSLua.UserName() ) )

whats wrong with that?

yes and no.
it contained a Ö at first. then i thought, the name wasnt shown up, because of the ö and i entered random letters(no special letters) in the name field in the hardware of my ds. then i tried again with the same result: nothing Undecided

Hmm, you are correct, the function doesn't work on hardware for some reason.  Works only in Dualis...

Well... this is odd. You guys made this function, tested it in Dualis,  only to be called G.W. Bush, and to your dismay can't get it to work on hardware! Wahaha!

Waruwaru sure is trying to fix it (or at least is in is to-do list)

By the way, stop complaining and behaving like a troll: Waruwaru is doing a great job implementing DSLUA.
Is normal that some bugs exist during the development process and sooner or later they will be fixed.
The day you present and share something that works like DSLUA  (and not just more of your vapor-ware), you will have the right to complain
